I wouldn’t even disagree with that characterization. But it’s all entertainment, isn’t it? Does rock have to pass some purity test? Is Black Sabbath more “real” than Queen? How about the Rolling Stones?
I get what you’re saying and totally dis some acts *cough*Barry Manilow*cough* for being an embarrassment to show biz. I just thought Queen were master showmen and they made great music. I guess if they’re not rock-n-roll enough for ya that’s your business but I can’t help but wonder if you’re narrowing your options for entertainment more than you need to.
