I always liked Bauhaus better than Love and Rockets, but this one is superb:

Yes, I am digitizing more vinyl today while I do work.  FUCK, does everyone in this house walk like an elephant (including, but not limited to, the cats)?  It’s like no one remembers that RECORDS ARE PLAYING!

  1. Oh, I particularly liked the lyrics to this song. Very nice, zrm.

  2. That was disturbingly civil. Who are you and what did you do with vacuumslayer?

  3. What? I am a very nice person. I keep telling people this. Still, they look skeptical.

  4. I recently made a bunch of impetuous purchases. I am listening to songs to see if they make my cut. This is one of them.

  5. Pinko Punko says:

    ZRM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My fave L&R song. This is for when you feel nothing/something are my fave parts.

  6. Ahem:

Before my time. Also, several zombie blogs ago.

  7. I will play it on the other p.c. here (W.V.) when I get back home (the one that haz speakers).

  8. I am certain I’ve used this title before.

    Oh look ,I did: http://empireofthesenseless.blogspot.com/2010/05/sing-greys.html

However, since that is no longer available to the straights, this one is like a new title all over again!

  9. ooo, an alternative version of “If I Should Fall From Grace With God” that was tex-mexed up for “Straight To Hell”, an excellent soundtrack that had a weird-ass movie made to justify it.

  10. FUCK, does everyone in this house walk like an elephant (including, but not limited to, the cats)?HAHAHAHAHAHAHA…the downside of vinyl m’dear Zombilicious. 😉

Sometimes my 6-month-old baby doesn’t understand that I’m busy blogging. It’s pretty annoying.

  12. My answer to anyone who wants to claim Frank Zappa is an unadulterated genius: Billy The Mountain.

Rake at the Gates of Hell is an awesome song. Shane used the same music for Aisling, which is not quite as badass.

Never did see “Straight to Hell”.

    walk like an elephant

Getting into the Bangles B-sides now I see.

  15. Off to play golf at Cacapon State Park today.

  17. not for that. even for upside-downey-types, it was weak and orbvious.

  18. Von says:

I also prefer Bauhaus, but I do love this song.
