  4. mikey says:

    Good heavens.

Zombie posted a song I have in, like, THREE different playlists.

I guess it’s probably a statistical certainty that he has ALL the songs I like, but they represent such a minuscule fraction of his inventory that only very occasionally will he end up posting one of them…

  5. Brando says:

Mssr. ZRM, have you listened to a band called California X? Some young lads who sound like a mixture of old and new Dinosaur Jr. I suspect you may enjoy.

  6. Brando says:

So THAT’s how you embed? I feel like I did on my wedding night.

  7. extra large coffee this morning, Brando?

  8. When life throws [REDACTED] at you, you kill them and then they come back to life and then you get to be the king of an unstoppable undead [REDACTED] army.

Well, that’s what I’d do anyway. The music thing works too, I guess.

And thanks for letting me know who the Eels are — I remember that last song from when it came out and the other stuff is good too. And I’m now in love with the girl in the first video, whoever she is.

    Brando is catching up.

    It’s a good thing.

There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight

Really? Moderation for the S word?? OK, I threw no écureuils… you came hunting for them.

  15. Jim H. says:

Baby’s got the bends. We don’t have any real friends.

  16. Jim H. says:

Wait. How did Brando get it to do that? Fuck me.

      • doe says:

oh wait that may not be where i left it , it has another’s name on , and i have no moving visuals on my lap top right now .., of able to check ..

  19. doe says:

the.. girl, you’ll be a wom .n soon ..post , that is where it is ..

  20. Neil Diamond is where it’s at. Jack Black was in a movie where that was pretty much the entire concept.

Alarming Zombie Disclosure: The first real, big-time large barn rock and roll show I ever saw was Neil Diamond.

Still, and with many thousands of tracks, it appears there is no Neil on my hard drive. Perhaps he needs to do an album with Jimmy Cliff.

  21. anne, you may, or may not, be interested to know that I am doing some facade design by hand tonight.

Not much, of course, because it has to be converted to digital all too soon, to work with other team members over the mojo wire, but for now, it’s all elbows out and Prismacolors flying!

z, my father had a hard time dealing with the changes over to tech before he retired ,/he paints again now ,and sells his paintings , / he still ls interested in de sign , but he has never gone on line in any way , ,nor has his brother who was an edit. and lay out man at the globe and mail in the 60s and 7os , still gets his globe and mail and new york times daily, .. is involved in politics, local that carry .. through those that he spends time with , but never on line like my father ./i had an interesting child hood as the daughter of , in his working on some interesting building ,of what was going on in this city at the time , so wandering around the grounds of ontario place as it was back then in being put together in my stroller as my father took me along to drop off drawings , and the science centre and the zoo, tor. , and so on , and our house was interesting with his art work

      • Anne, as you kind of mentioned in another comment, I am indeed kind of more concerned about drawing buildings that get built. I took a small amount of heat during college for being overly concerned about how users will use a building. But my real life has combined that concern for users with a prediliction for re-using existing buildings…

But doing my drawings by hand is always a special thing. I did construction drawings, presentation drawings, before they were digiitized. I have a great hand with markers, pencils, whatever; and I do personal things in charcoal and pastel.

  22. mikey says:

Mid 70s, I was completely insane. Living on Dexamyl, LSD and violence, running from everything that frightened me and trying to pretend the world made sense, I found myself oddly calmed and thoughtful by playing a vinyl album called “Neil Diamond – His 12 Greatest Hits”. It will always be connected in my mind to Delany’s “The Einstein Intersection”. They go together in some sort of way, and made me think things I couldn’t access otherwise.

    Weird, huh?

  23. doe says:

z, my comments in other places ,related, .. weren’t about ” ..buildings that get built ..” , but of something else of your more technically able

    • doe says:

z, if you look over from the comments that i left on mcg today ,of mention .. to z comix, of when he put the link to there , and see the little that i have left up there ,on that my’pace , those are stills from flip bks , one of things that i do .. / please have a look , i’d like to know what you are able to see ,of understand of what they might be about .. from those little bits left behind there , /i wanted you to go about looking by looking first at comments at mcg then at zen for a reason , but if not able , if you go to myspac’ and type in annedoe you should have a fate image that shows up of a piece of torn paper thrown with a drawing of a walking skirt , with a tangle of threading on an ankle .. .

  24. doe says:

i don’t make links because i’m not able ,that is what all of my ..on about at mcg ..was about today , just little suggests at ..why not.. , of not to over whelm others ..of why little ..of suggests , / lamott tomorrow to morrow ,of another anne .. .

  25. And I’m now in love with the girl in the first video, whoever she is.

    GOOD LORD YES.

    • doe says:

i found a way of watching the clips earlier today , but with still not fixing the problem on my lap top here , so i saw that one , she looks like me , only my hair is not straight under my bonnet ,a fro ,

Go ahead, tell me how I fucked up this time.
